Happy Thanksgiving from Bali!

It's our first full day in Bali!

We started our morning with a very large breakfast pool side.  We wanted to have one morning to relax, so we stayed at the hotel for a few hours.  We walked on the beach, and swam in the Indian Ocean.   I was very excited about this, since I have never been in the Indian Ocean!
It was crazy how small the waves were, and how warm the water was.  Another really cool thing about the beach, is the black sand, which means it is extremely hot on your feet, making it impossible to walk on the beach barefoot.  The airport is really close to the beach, and the runway jets into the ocean.  It is really fascinating, so we spent a long time watching the planes take off, and land.  We laid in the sun, swam in the pool, and sat at the swim up bar for a while.
Once Koz was done with the heat, we went back to the room, and figured out our plans for the rest of our trip.  We wanted to get out on the ocean for one excursion, but they were all full day trips.  So we decided to take a sunset dinner cruise for our Thanksgiving Dinner instead.
The sunset cruise was really nice, and it was great to be on the water.  We saw a few other villages in Bali, and the dinner was good too, with all different food.   There was live music on the boat which was good, and entertainment at the end of the ride.
When we got back to the hotel, we went to the lobby bar that is right off the beach.  Koz ordered his drink, and the bartender started laughing, informing us it is the worst drink on the menu.  After that we became the hit with the bartenders, since Koz liked the worst drink on the menu!
