Grace came to Singapore today! I have been looking forward to this since I left for Singapore. She arrived to Singapore on Thursday morning at 1a.m. and left Singapore Friday morning at 3a.m., so we had a very short window to spend time together, especially since I was working on Thursday.
We met for lunch at the famous Raffles Hotel. There is a nice buffet lunch there that Grace had been to previously. We met in the lobby, and I couldn't believe we were meeting in Singapore.
There were no open tables for lunch, but Grace worked her magic and charmed the hostess convincing her to seat us anyways. The buffet had really nice salads, with many great dishes like prawns, and fish and chicken. We sat and talked for a long time, and when the meal was over, we didn't want to leave, so we ordered a cup of coffee so we could visit longer!
After lunch, we stopped at Grace's hotel because she had wonderful presents for me: Listerine, lip gloss, slippers, a nice tote, and on and on. It was displayed in her room so nicely, and it was so much fun to have presents! We took a cab to my apartment to drop off my goodies, and Gracie also wanted to see my apartment. We then walked to Orchard, and hailed 2 cabs. She went back to her hotel, and I headed back to work. It was a great lunch, and so much fun.
Tonight I pick Koz up from the airport, and I can't wait to see him!
