It's October 12 - so it's Koz's Birthday! Happy Birthday Brian :)
I was given my computer back this morning, so Koz and I had an interesting conversation today through gchat. He had his video gchat on, and I didn't have mine on, so I could see him, but he couldn't see me. It was nice being able to see him though, and very funny at the same time!
I went to the cafeteria for lunch again today, and picked Chinese today. I didn't know what anything was again, so I picked 2 things. 1 was sprouts, the other I thought was chicken. As it turns out, I am pretty sure the "chicken" was actually potatoes. It was a very strange meal today, and the first really bad one I have had.
After lunch we had a meeting with the SSO team in Singapore and conference in the team in Shanghai. They conducted the meeting in English since I was there, so I am sure everyone was thrilled with that!
After work I went home, had a few conference calls back to America, and then met up with Steven for dinner.
We went to Clark Quay which is a very popular area on the Singapore River. It is beautiful at night with tons of bars, restaurants, lights, music and people everywhere. It is such a vibrant place, and packed even at 10 p.m. on a Wednesday night. We at a seafood restaurant called Jumbo, another seafood restaurant. Steven ordered for us, and we shared everything. We ate the clams (same as the night before), chili crab, broccoli and tofu. The chili crab was really spicy, but really good.
After dinner we walked around the river. It's such a cool city, which such an alive spirit!
Too bad it was a Wednesday!
